I was born in Majdanpek, Serbia where I spent my early childhood years, before my family moved to Lazarevac, Belgrade.
After high school, I graduated in psychology at the University of Belgrade.
In 1997 training in Cognitive - Behaviour Psychotherapy at the Belgrade's Institute for Speech and Psycho-Physiological disorders followed and in 2002: Development problems at children and adolescents, at the Institute of Mental Health, Belgrade.
From year 2000 to 2005 I was trained in Gestalt therapy in Gestalt Studio Belgrade.
In the year 2002 I become health psychologist in Serbia, and from 2010 I'm also registered as health psychologist (GZ psycholoog), in BIG register in The Netherlands.
I'm as well holder of European certificate for Psychotherapy since December 2010.
Counselling and psychotherapy have been my occupation and big love for 15 years now and during that time and have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. My first year as a psychologist was spent working in Orphan home "Mosa Pijade", Belgrade. In the following years I was employed in The health center in Lazarevac, Association for mentally disabled people “UMNRO” and NGO "HOPE".
I 'm the owner of private psychotherapy practice since 2004, first in Lazarevac, and from 2008 in The Hague.
Over the years I have developed a flexible and adaptable approach to psychotherapy with a wide variety of therapeutic models, depending on the experiences and issues you bring to your therapy, and which approaches make the most sense for addressing your specific concerns and goals.
My intention is to create a safe, open and supportive place for you and your family to explore the areas of your life in which you want to make changes, and to help empower you in a process of growth and healing.
