I was born in Majdanpek, Serbia, where I spent my early childhood before my family moved to Belgrade.

After high school, I graduated in Psychology at the University of Belgrade. In 1997, I completed training in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at the Belgrade Institute for Speech and Psycho-Physiological Disorders, followed in 2002 by training in Developmental Problems in Children and Adolescents at the Institute of Mental Health, Belgrade.

From 2000 to 2005, I trained in Gestalt Therapy at Gestalt Studio Belgrade. In 2011, I also completed training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy. In 2002, I became a Health Psychologist in Serbia, and since 2010 I am also registered as a Health Psychologist (GZ Psycholoog) in the Netherlands under the BIG register. Additionally, I hold a European Certificate in Psychotherapy, obtained in December 2010.

Counseling and psychotherapy have been my passion and profession for over 20 years. During this time, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My first professional experience was at the Orphan Home “Mosa Pijade” in Belgrade. Subsequently, I worked at the Health Center in Lazarevac, the Association for Mentally Disabled People “UMNRO”, and the NGO “HOPE”.

I have run my private psychotherapy practice since 2004—initially in Belgrade, and since 2008 in The Hague. Over the years, I have developed a flexible and adaptable approach, integrating a variety of therapeutic models depending on your experiences, needs, and goals.

My aim is to create a safe, open, and supportive environment for you and your family to explore the areas of your life in which you want to make changes. I strive to empower you through a process of growth and healing, guiding you toward meaningful and lasting change.
